Yes, helpful. I take it the same principle is applied to ascenders? Then my mind asks, is there a principle to fall back on for the overall shape of the word to make it into a pleasing whole, and still have it be consistent with the pattern you are using for your quote/sign? This is the first time I have seen this explanation. A bouncing baseline works nicely on signs--I think people are drawn to the informality of it. I can see why it sells easily. I am also glad to see your listing of the pens you use.

Hi!! So I was just wondering… I purchased all of your books (small and large tips) legit all of them lol. Should I purchase your pen set? Or can I use the Tombow dual tips, and the fudenosuke brushes I already have?

Your reverse oval is also how I make my lower case "s". Oh!! The upper case "B" in your word "Brush" on your practice sheets is SO PRETTY! I've never seen one like that before Kelli. Very nice!

Ironic as heck. I just got my new water brushes. Not yours Kelly but they are so fun. I've been playing around with them all day. HELL my lettering looks better with the brushes than with my brush pens. I used water color paper. It's so fun to blend with them. The colors of yours look deeper. I'll have to get some next payday😊

These are just like quotes i puton cards to sell. I've gotten so much better since starting 5 months ago. Everything you've said would happen has happened! The whole muscle memory is REAL!! I Make little positive affirmations on pretty paper for my friends... or strangers?. I've been able to afford some beautiful Tombow Dual Tips brush pens in all kinds of colors! Using those have improved my skills 1000%. The pens you use can make a difference! I've learned by using Crayola Broad tips. They take alot of upper body strength 😂😂.. Sitting down to write with my first Tombow pen was like ...i can't describe it. Like my hand just started lettering without my even thinking about it! It was an awesome moment! I LOVE THE WORD MIMIMUM! One of my teachers uses that word to teach us how to write Bouncy letters! It's such an easy way to teach. We use our "X- space" then she goes from there. Going up over the ascender line ... it's hard to explain. You know how to bounce. Well now i do too. Sarah is great at showing us how SHE writes but she doesnt write with us. She's great! Don't get me wrong but you have really helped me out kelly. Thank you.
